HISTORY OF KAPANDWE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH
By L.E Florence Hachoombwa (communication secretary)
History plays an interesting role in our lives. Moses told the Isrealites that when you enter Canan, when you have belt good houses remember Egypt, remember that you were once slaves. There is something about remembering our Egypts, we are able to say with Samuel Ebenezar, " thus far the Lord has led us", you are filled with gratitude, as you watch the different stages in lfe that God has taken you through. The Church at Kapandwe is able to say" blessed be the name of the Lord".
Kapandwe Seventhday Adventist church is under Chibombo mission district, in a Lenge village l . It is situated opposite Kapandwe primary school.
CHURCH BUILDING
Kapandwe church became a branch in 1985 under Kabwe west mission district, it was later transfered to Chibombo mission district under Lyanza and by that time it had become a company.

Next on the programme is to put window panes. We are also in need of furniture. The Lord has indeed been good to us.
MEMBERSHIP
Currently, membership is at two hundred and fifty. We thank God we have three members who where there when the church started, these are sister Malala and Mr and Mrs Chirwa.
Pastor Burton Moonga was the district pastor When the church started. One thing he's able to say is that when it started, you would say, "can anything good come out of this place," because of lack of comittment. Thank God He has continued to to work in people's lives and growing his church.
